That is a tough one. I know if crysler used the 3.9 magnums then you could fit a 5.2 or even a 5.9 in there, but I am unsure of swapping the 3.7 for a 4.7. I would think that the cost of doing it would not be worth it.... unless you don't mind spending a lot.

The biggest thing is the tranny bell housing mating surfaces between the two engine. If they are the same, then you can probably get it to fit.

manual trannys for the 4.7 are the nv3500 5-spd and getrag238 6-spd
seems like a lot of work and money though...

Wasn't the 4wd version an NV3550 and in the 2wd version the NV3500? Could be making stuff up though.
