Low 9 sec Cuda .. 28x10x15 or 29.5x10x15 ?
In my Cuda ..would jump from 28 to 29,5 for improve 60 ft and top end speed ... Now with 28 tires with 4.10 ratio my best ET is 9.79 at 142 mph ..1.48 60 ft .. 7200 rpm at finish line .. Look like too rpm ?? Because my power peak is at around 7000 rpm ... My goal is low 9s !!

wow !! you have this 29.5x10.5 with 10" wheels ??? wich backspacing ??? i think not fitting in my cuda with factory leaf spring location and factory fender !! remember my car is streettable .. i drive everyday .. and in september my best ET was 9.78 and 1.48 60 ft

Our back fenders are rolled. we may go back to stock fenders when we put it back on the street. 10" with 5.5 back space weld drag lite. calvert mono leaf rear and caltracs.

28-10-15 tires ...im working for install mono leaf and 9 way shock and offset hangar for move The leaf inside !!

If you stick with the 8 3/4, you need a spool and you should be changing the ring a pinon every 100 pass's or so (before it breaks).
I'd say it's time for the Dana, and you probably broke your trans also.

I think you have to test to find out what gives the best 60 ft. I believe there will be a difference from top to bottom, depending on how much axle - body separation you get/need and still dead hook.
