Smile 1971 Plymouth Duster Plum Crazy

I just bought my retirement car--a 71 Plymouth Duster in Plum Crazy,. Originally a slat 6 rust free car, it now has a 383 with 6 pack. I haven't received it yet--it is still in shipping, but I am looking forward to taking it to the next level. We want to do some old car touring and want to add AC and Cruise Control among other upgrades. Anybody have any experience adding AC and cruise to a 6 pack car? Thanks

Your Volare reminds me of several company cars my Uncle got from 45 yrs working at Chrysler. He loved the Belvideres, and twice got 2 dr sedan Blevidere I's with Torqueflites, and big motors. Neither ever had power steering or brakes, which drove my 98 lb Aunt crazy She wasn't strong or big enouat to drive them. One had a 440 and one a hemi. He would take me with him on the Detroit Freeway with those cars and hit it at the top of the on-ramp. We were flying when we got to the end of the ramp. Those cars pinned me back in the seat like nothing I ever rode in. I imagine it would be the same sensation in your Volare.
