looks good, the spoiler on the back looks a little narrower than it should be though?

yeah... the spoiler is not original and its going to be the first thing to go. for now its a driver... but over the winter its gonna get a complete restore because i traded another car i owned for this one and some ... enough to do all the body work and paint and then some interior work...

another thing is i took it to a local car show up here in Escanaba Michigan and a man with a 70 duster approached me and we were talking about the grille. He called it a shark tooth grille and said they are hard to find.. Is this true? ive done some research and found out that one is going on ebay in worse condition than mine for 695.00... i was just wondering if anyone out there can maybe give me some more info on it.
Thanks

and im also wondering how to go about identifying what year and possibly what the 340 that is in it came out of. Can you tell that by the casting numbers? is so how? any info is helpful
Thanks

date code is hard to find since its on the side of the block. prob have to jack it up and crawl underneath it with a flashlight to see it, if your lucky.

When you ditch the spoiler, toss the trunk lid and get yourself one that is pre '72 (that hump in the middle gives it away) otherwise, a nice car and if you don't like the grill, I'd be happy to take it off your hands.....

Is it an original 340 car? Does it have a washer welded to the front of the K-frame?

no its not an original 340 car.... from what i read i have a pretty valueable grill that i knew nothing about untill doing some reading and checking on here... i was pretty suprised to see one going on ebay for 1500.00 thats crazy.. it needs a little touch up but otherwise its perfect so its gonna stay on the car

lol i been looking for a shark tooth grille for mine if u dont want urs ill be happy to take it. Those grilles are worth alot they pop out new ones but they are just as expensive. Take a look at the casting number on the block should be able to decode the year and that from it.
