date correct or warranty block

date correct or warranty block

I am restoring a 69 RR it is not numbers matching but a very solid car all around and I want to do right by it. I want to bring it back to as close as I can to the factory build but here is the deal. It came with a "warranty" block. No vin stamp and no stamp on the pad. The car was built 4/69 and the block was cast 6/68. Am I better off to go with a non matching block "date correct 11/68" or stick with the warranty block?

Personally I don't think it would matter.. IT will never be numbers matching. I would use the WTY block
