Help with Rebuilding front end-67 Charger
This is my first time to rebuild a Mopar front end suspension. I have the engine out of my car and have removed the torsion bars. I also removed the nuts and washer from the upper control arm (at the tower) but left the bolts in place. I also have removed the top nut on the shock. With the car on jack stands and the front suspension hanging, what is the best way to relieve the tension on the upper control arm bolts so I can remove them from the tower?
It seems that the weight of the suspension hanging would just create more tension on the bolts holding the upper control arm on the tower. Once I can remove the upper control arm bolts , I thought I would drop the k-member with the suspension so I can re-build off the car and restore the k-member finish.
Any advise is appreciated.

Take the spendles loose from the upper control arm and drop the lower asm if you can... Remove the upper control arms their after.... Just my 2 cents...
