1968 - 1969 colors

Would you say the '68 Electric Blue and the '69 B5 Blue are close if not the same color for Plymouth?

Close but, not the same. I also thought that they were the same but, the '68 QQ1 "Electric Blue" may have more silver in it. (I'm not a paint guy)
I've had my '68 QQ1 blue Fury next to a B-5 blue '69 GTS and they are definitely different.
Close but different.

thanks man.....trying to paint my car close to original 1968 electric blue. I know a lot of people love the b5 blue though. Thoughts on the color difference? you like your electric blue next to the b5?

Well, at the Mopars in the Park show in Rancho Cordova this year, I saw a '68 Coronet R/T that was spot on exactly the same color as my '68 Fury. The paint was fresh and the car was absolutely beautiful! That was the moment that I realized how much that I liked the shade of the QQ1 Electric Blue!
I couldn't take my eyes off of it and is when I noticed that it was definitely different than the B5 blue. The color made that '68 stand out from the B5 Blue '69 GTS that was parked next to it which was also a beautiful car... and looked good wearing it's B5 blue!
Later in the day, I went back over to see that R/T again. Then, at the end of the show, it ended up that the R/T was the car in front of me pulling out of the venue.... and wished that I owned that R/T! lol

How's that for "Thoughts on the color difference?" lol
