Key switch wiring question

I may be in way over my head but hope I can find a way out. I am in the process of swapping a Gen 3 Hemi with the 6 speed auto trans into a 1955 Desoto. I used a 2005 Dodge Magnum 5.7 for my donor car. I pulled all the wiring out and in the process of trying to get it all lined out in the Desoto. Here is my question: I am not going to use the Antilock break controller or the security system. I was going to use the Keyswitch out of the Magnum but broke it. I know I can get a new one but it really doesn’t fit my dash. Can I wiring up new key switch gages and stuff to make everything work using the old wiring harness with out using the security system and ABS system? If so Is there a quick guide out there that can help aid me in learning what wires to use etc.. There is a ton of great helps for the LS people but having a hard time finding that same kind of help for the Hemi Swap. Any suggestions or helps would be greatly appreciated.

I'd do a web search and find a place that can strip that wiring harness down to the few wires you need. I can't remember the name right now, but I think you end up with four wires...other than all the sensors and ECU stuff. Check online and you will find them.
