1975 D100 new acquisition

Hi everyone. New member here. Just got a 1975 D100 stepside 360 auto yesterday but my dilemma is:

It had no keys, so I need to replace the ignition lock cylinder. Can it be done without the key and how can it be done?

Thanks in advance.

oh yeah, easy! most of em have a button to push i believe, with a pin or something real small, and the thing will come loose. go to youtube university and search around, you'll find it. youre fine. breathe.

worst case scenario you can bypass it and put in your own key/switch set up... i ran two vehicles that way for a decade or more each, works like gangbusters.

I can't remember if the door or its the glove box that is unlocked with the ignition key but witch ever pull it out and take it to a locksmith, they can make new keys.
