Cracked gauge bezel

Hi Guys

Another item on the "to do" list for the D100 - the gauge bezel is cracked. The previous owner put in a couple gauges on either side, and the bezel has cracked where those were installed. It seems like the best plan of action is just to JB weld / epoxy the cracks back together (as a replacement bezel is at least 150 used on ebay or way more as a re-pop). My other thought was to get some similar replacement plastic and cut out pieces that I could glue over the end pieces. That would make the bezel thicker on the ends and i'm not sure that would fit under the dash. Has anyone tried anything like this? As always, thanks for your help.

Unless it's show car (and maybe even it it was), I'd do a glue / sand /repaint on it, but it's has to be your call.
