Dodge W250 360 engine build
Hello All,
I'm looking at getting into a first gen 3/4 to use as a bush/ work truck. I'd like to upgrade the engine to make sure that power Isn't going to be a issue for what I'd like to do. I want to aim for 350-400 HP and 400ish FT/LBS of torque out of a 360. From what I've seen these numbers are fairly obtainable for the 360 but I don't really know where to start. What heads are gonna be the best, best cam, carb and so on. Was curious what everyone would recommend or is running for dependable options. I don't wanna be stuck in the bush with no way out. I'm appreciative of any and all input. Thanks in advance!

You can try a package that is already put together for you so there is no guess work. That’s usually the easiest way to do it. This is from Edelbrock and seems to make the numbers that you were looking for.
