Motor swap

Motor swap
I recently picked up a 1975 Dodge Power Wagon W200 single cab, LWB, manual transmission, 225 slant six, full time front end, no ac.
Looking to junk the slant six and put a V8 in but want to use the same bell housing and motor mounts, anyone got some info on a possible candidate, I’m not very familiar with the Dodge trucks?
Thanks

Your going to need V8 mounts big block or small block and bell housing big or small block, just the way it is…
you will also need motor mount frame brackets and motor brackets. The oil pans are different between cars and trucks so you need a truck pan…
Make sure the crank shaft on the new V8 is drilled for pilot bearing, some are and some aren’t plus you need the correct flywheel for the new motor because the/6 will not work.

It would be much easier to swap the complete power train from a newer late 90s truck.
