Electric choke

Hey guys I got a 1980 volare that had a 360 2 barrel carb and intake that I have swapped over to a 4 barrel edelbrock carb and intake and was curious if I can wire the new electric choke off the old electric choke wiring?

If this isn't a daily driver, do you really need a choke?
